FAQ’s
Festival passes
Every person attending Peakender 2023 will need a ticket in order to access the festival. Festival tickets can be booked for the full weekend or for individual days, for both adults and children. Please note your festival ticket does NOT include camping or parking.
Camping pitches, live-in vehicle pitches and parking spaces must be booked separately. Parking passes are available for individual days or the whole weekend. We ask that you print you parking pass in advance and display it clearly in your vehicle for the duration of your stay.
Camping
Maximum of 1 tent per pitch purchased. The maximum tent size (when pitched) is 5m x 5m. Please note, no camping pitches will be reserved. Camping pitches are only valid in conjunction with weekend festival tickets. The campsite closes strictly at 10am on Monday 21st August.
Live-In vehicles
The term ‘live-in vehicles’ refers to caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and all similar vehicles. Maximum of 1 live-in vehicle per pitch purchased. Maximum live-in vehicle size when parked (inc. awnings etc.) is 7m x 7m. All live-in vehicles must comfortably fit within their designated pitches, including awning, canopy, tent or other external additions to accommodation. Any towing vehicles will need to be moved to the car park.
Pitches are allocated by Stewards. Pitches cannot be reserved. If you would like a live-in vehicle pitch next to friends, we recommend you aim to arrive at the same time to increase the likelihood that you will be pitched together. Peakender reserves the right to request the removal of any external additions to pitches should they present any risk to other attendees.
Restrictions to on site movement of live-in vehicles may apply throughout the event. No electric hook up available. Toilet drop point available. Live-in vehicle pitches are only valid in conjunction with weekend festival tickets for all intending to camp.
I have a live-in vehicle that is too big for the pitch, what can I do?
Please contact peakender@thornbridge.co.uk with precise dimensions of your vehicle.
What are the campsite facilities?
Fully accessible toilets, drinking water, basic wash facilities, hot showers, waste disposal and recycling points will be available. On site first aid, security and welfare facilities will be available. Campsite facilities are available to tent, live-in vehicle and glamping attendees.
Based on feedback from 2022 we will be looking to upgrade these for all camping.
Are BBQs allowed?
Strictly no BBQs, open fires, fireworks, flares, smoke bombs on site. Elevated camping stoves ONLY will be permitted for use at Peakender. Please ensure you read the instructions that come with your stove and ensure you keep any stoves away from tent walls. Do not store camp stoves within your tent even when not in use due to risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
When does the campsite open and close to attendees?
The campsite is open to early access ticket holders only between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday 17th August, please note the arena will not be open at this time. The campsite opens to all standard ticket holders at 10am on Friday 18th August. The campsite will close very promptly at 10am on Monday 21st August.
Will electric hook up facilities be provided?
Sorry no electric hook up facilities will be available at Peakender.
Will my tent camping pitch be allocated?
No. The tent camping fields will be clearly signposted. You will be directed to pitch your tent(s) within these fields by a steward on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Pitches cannot be reserved. If you would like a pitch next to friends, we recommend you aim to arrive at the same time.
Are dogs welcome at Peakender?
Well behaved dogs (and owners) are welcome at Peakender. The expectation is that dog owners take good care of their dogs on site and keep them on a short lead to avoid any inconvenience or disruption to Peakender attendees, staff and the general public. Please ensure you bring a supply of dog poo bags and clear up after your dog. Areas of the site where dogs are not allowed will be clearly signposted, e.g. childrens play area.

Car parking is located in grass fields separate to the camping and arena field, but within walking distance. Live-in vehicles are prohibited from entering the on-site car park, however towing vehicles will be required to park in designated car parks. Vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
