FESTIVAL INFO

The very first Peakender took place back in 2014 in the surrounding grounds of Thornbridge Outdoors, just a stones throw from Thornbridge Hall. Peakender began as an annual celebration of all things Thornbridge and a way to showcase some of the very best brewing talent from our friends within the industry. A family friendly festival with a relaxed vibe, Thornbridge wanted Peakender to be a place where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves. At the heart of it all was great beer, food and music.

We had a few absolutely cracking years at Thornbridge Outdoors and the festival welcomed more and more people each year, taking us to a point where we needed to find a bigger venue. Peakender 2017 was our first year at Bakewell Showground and the new, larger space allowed us to showcase even more breweries, food vendors, live music and much more.

Peakender 2022 surpassed all of our expectations and without further delay – we announce that we will be back in 2023! The good news is that we have ordered exactly the same weather as this year and will replicate all of the best bits including the beer, entertainment and family friendly atmosphere whilst improving on the small things we felt could have been better. 2022 was great, 2023 will be incredible!

Peakender is a magical weekend where we get together with all our friends both in the industry and further afield to party in the peaks! So, grab your tent or glamp in one of ours, come for the day or the weekend – bring the kids and the pooch and join us. And please don’t forget your wellies – we can guarantee you’ll need them at some point!
